A tasty lemon-flavoured olive oil in a pretty can.
In Abruzzo, in the centre of Italy, it was customary, at the end of the olivades, to clean the millstones by grinding lemons. The highly fragrant oil obtained was reserved for family use. Today, this process is still used, no longer at the end of the harvest but on the contrary at the beginning of the harvest when the olives are green and the lemons are fresh. Both olives and lemons are carefully selected from the orchards and olive groves of the Ursini family.
Giuseppe, the son, who took over the two hundred year-old family company, is in charge of finding the perfect balance everyyear, at the time of the olivades, to obtain this fresh lemon-flavoured extra virgin olive oil.
Food pairings: Subtly spices up fish marinades, shell-fish, sushis, salads, white meats, fruit salads and sorbets.
